THEORIES AND PRINCIPLES IN THE USE AND DESIGN OF TECHNOLOGY DRIVEN LEARNING LESSONS
Some of
the major learning theories that shape modern conversations surrounding
technology integration include behaviorism, cognitivism,
constructivism, constructionism, and connectivism. The principles are connecting technology learning to professional
knowledge,
privileging subject matter and pedagogical content connections using technology
learning to challenge professional knowledge, and teaching many technologies. Learning Theories help us to identify different instructional strategies and learn enhancement about its effectiveness
when it comes to learning. Dale’s
Cone of Experience is one of the theories of instructional design and learning process engaging with
11 stages that tackle about learning
process. The TPACK framework helps educator to know about what are they kinds of knowledge needed for effective
pedagogical practice in a technology-based learning environment.
Heinrich and
Molenda developed the ASSURE model in 1919
. This model helps us the teacher and students
got assurance about their
learnings . This model is a procedural guide for planning and delivery instructions using technology, and for the educator to have effective teaching process,
he or she/ should prepare the environment wherever
the teaching process takes place,
and after that the educator should require
learners
responses, like some evaluations and assessments for them to know if the students really got some learnings. Therefore , by using
those models and following those theories will every educators to gave organisation about their
learnings process, and it helps every
students to have more knowledge and effectiveness of learning process.
